If you like Planners and like to customize them, then this system is a must for you. This does not have to be just a planner.
here are some ideas:
Special occasion scrapbook,
Color chart book (keep track of the ink pads you already own)
Notebook you can reuse
or even even a planner.
The possibilities are endless!!!!
Based on a standard sized Travelers Notebook, the system and binders features 6 rings. All the dies coordinate with each other for endless combinations. Run the dies through your diecut machine to make as many pages as you want for your book. I find the extended plates and platforms are easier to use because of the length of the die. Cut whatever color of cardstock or paper you want to have in your book. You can also cut mixed media paper, watercolor paper, Yupo paper, acetate, felt, thin cork and metallic cardstock.
The 6 ring binding is a standard 6 ring hole so if you use another system (such as the Carpe Diem) these dies will still work with your planner. Mix and match the dies to make the book that works for you. If you do not like ringed binders then you can also use binding rings, ribbons or twine to keep your book together. Cover up the holes on the edge and you can bind it in a different way.
This is one of the systems we use in our Art Chronical Class at Everything Scrapbook and Stamps and we just love it!!! I travel so I can just slip out the pages from the journal and carry what I need. I use it as an Art Journal and I find it easier to work on the individual pages rather than in the book.
