One of Golden's thickest gels, Golden High Solid Acrylic Gel Mediums hold high peaks and are useful for simulating oil paint behavior. They contain less water and more acrylic solids, so they shrink less than other gels. The mediums retain texture, brushstrokes, and tool marks.
Gels can be thought of as colorless paint, as they are composed of 100% acrylic polymers similar to acrylic paint.
